Eneris Solutions Oy has raised a significant round of funding in May 2002.

The investors include PCA Infocom Finance Oy, Solaris Asset Management Oy, Jonny Kaarlenkaski, Oulu Ventures Oy and Upstream Innovations Oy. The company also raised additional funding from Finnvera and TEKES.

The general shareholders meeting has appointed a new Board of Directors, that includes Jonny Kaarlenkaski (chairman), Risto Kääpä, Jukka Norokorpi and Thomas O'Rourke. The Board appointed Thomas O'Rourke as the new CEO of Eneris Solutions. O'Rourke has a strong entrepreneurial background as the founder and CEO of Softbit and long international software business experience from Microsoft in Redmond, WA, USA. Softbit is a subsidiary of Elektrobit Group Oyj that is publicly listed in Helsinki Stock Exchange. O'Rourke is a citizen of USA and born in Minnesota. The current Eneris President Mikko Alasaarela continues as the Vice President in charge of International Business Development. Eneris focuses its international activities mainly on US market.

PCA Infocom Finance Oy is a leading Finnish venture capital company that is owned by the management and board, Alma Media, PCA Corporate Finance and Landesbank Kiel.

Solaris Asset Management Oy is an investment company that belongs to Jouhki familys Thominvest group. Eneris investment was made by Solaris Capital Fund I Ky.

Oulu Ventures Oy is an Oulu-based investment and development company. It is backed by investment and development company A Company Finland Oyj that is listed in Helsinki Stock Exchange.

Upstream Innovations Oy is an investment company that is owned and managed by Mikko Alasaarela and Thomas O'Rourke.
